Conversion tracking allows you to track activity that happens on your website as a result of someone on Facebook seeing or clicking on your Facebook Ad. In combination with your ad statistics like impressions and clicks, conversion tracking will help you better understand the value of your Facebook ad campaign. I decided it was over, no more sneaky stuff for me.  I’ve decided to be 100% compliant with Facebook terms.  Ever since, things have been looking better.

Moral of the story, the Facebook gravy train is over. Find a legit offer and run it, there is still money to be made.

As you can see, they changed a lot.  Most noticeably is you can edit multiple campaigns and make changes on the main page.

You can select check boxes, click edit, and make changes to campaign settings to multiple campaigns.

Again you can make edits to multiple ads. I am lazy, and didnt want to take more pics and edit them.

Summary:

• They made it so you can edit multiple ads/campaigns at a time
• They made it harder to navigate
• I don’t know where anything is
• It isn’t much faster
• I liked the greasemonkey script more with the old ad manager

This isn’t in-depth, and overall it doesn’t seem worth the changes unless they add dayparting.

I do things the complete opposite as him and have varied results.  Read his post, actually, read his whole blog.

Now happy ad clickers can ‘Like’ an ad.  I for one think this is a neat idea, but it wont change anything.  There is no dislike button, so we cannot be “penalized” and if we are rewarded by ‘Like’ing our ads it wont be by much.  Users are stupid, they will like anything with a pretty picture.

What sort of bothers me, is that they made it show the ‘Like’ button on the Ad board. I don’t see the point of it, and some less then admirable affiliate marketer could abuse it more easily.

Edit : I didn’t see the X, so there is still a “dislike” button.  I am pretty stupid, so if I don’t see it my main target audience might not.

This could be a good thing for Bing, and organic SEO bitches.

• Bid low at first, you may get less impressions but if you have good CTR it will help. Lowering your bid fails hardcore
• Target! Pick a good demographic and get right into it.  If you want to run dating, go right down to states and personalize it
• Don’t run rebills on good accounts (ie high credit limit) apparently they can tell (my main account is shit now)
• Try something new, I’m getting bored of seeing dating ads.

Will it work? I don’t know, I’ll use both.
